Eigengrau Press is pleased to announce the design and construction of hand made albums for The Chestnut Tree compilation, which is released through Buddhist on Fire. These albums will not be for sale and only produced as KPFT thank you gifts, sent for album reviews and/or raid airplay. Please direct any questions concerning physical copies to The Chestnut Tree.
This project represents a system of artists, community radio and net labels that promote a large range of non-commercial and legally free music. This encourages new, creative and experimental music, listener exploration and free information.

We’ve recently donated booklets and fliers to The Chestnut Tree Program on KPFT in Houston. The booklets are transcripts and interviews from the program and 100% of the proceeds go to KPFT and are also pledge drive thank you gifts. More TCT fliers to come!
The booklets are also available at a discount for infoshops include interviews with George Gittoes, Rahul Mitra and Anne Wright.

Eigengrau Press will be at this year’s Zine Fest with publications from our 2011 catalogue, distribution of audio material from Mayday Records + vintage zines, stickers, 1″ pins and unique ephemera for your next project. IMR from Mayday will also perform during the event.
We’re looking forward to checking out the latest from Weak Highlights and other folks.
After May 21st, this website will have publications for review and purchase. We’re giving Zine Fest a first look to promote this local community event.
Zine Fest Houston is a market with great opportunity for local artists, writers and distributors to share their work directly with the public. This year’s local experimental music will be a great addition to the fest!
